Last day of CNY holidays

Forgive me, pls.. for I'm a BIG BIG procrastinator!!!

CNY had been over for nearly one month and I'm still posting about CNY! =p

Before heading back to the hectic routine of Malacca working life, on the last day of my CNY holidays, I went to e-Curve with my sis n bro... the main purpose was to watch 72 tenants
^_^

The only CNY movie I watched out of the so many CNY movies released this year,
and I watched it twice!
1 at KL, 1 at Malacca later on (the first movie I watched in Malacca after staying here for half a year!)

~Snapshots around~

I'm going to get a real pair of specs like this one soon!!

Our dear Chindian's convocation

The celebrated girl

A hot day in Cyberjaya, crowds were everywhere, packed like a tin of sardine, cameras flashing in all directions, perspiration dripping -.-ll --> there we were, attending our dear Chindian's convocation at MMU.

This happened when you got bored of the waiting

This' how you'd look like when you stood in the crowd, under the blazing sun, strained your neck to search for your target but couldn't spot him/her anywhere

This' what you'd do when the celebrated one's busy entertaining other people

After taking turns to snap a few photos with the celebrated girl, we transformed into her personal maids - following her around, carrying her bouquets and gifts, helping her to wipe sweat, as well as becoming her cameraman! No choice lor, people convo mar, her big day, so gave her face lor, hahaha~

Her personal 'maids'

With the celebrated Chindian, Ms.Jackie!

Finally we managed to break away from the convo girl, leaving her to a guy who was forced to fetch her back, pity him!

The victim who's left no choice but to fetch Ms.Jac back

We spent the rest of the day at Sunway Pyramid, meeting up with 2 more friends for a Kamparians' little gathering!

Dinner at Pasta Zanmai @ Sunway Pyramid

Seon, you missed it!

Engchi and Neoh, don't be sad ya!

A 'mou liu' Sunday to Sungai Klah Hot Spring

Last Sunday, 4 mou liu humans mou-mou liu-liu went to Sungkai to spend the day at the Sungai Klah Hot Spring.

Neoh promised to fetch me at 9.45am but since Ms. Cheow claimed that her alarm clock was faulty and didn't ring as it's set, so the journey was delayed a bit. And due to Ms. Jac wanted to breakfast dimsum, (she went at 10am! -.-''), the other 3 members made their way to find her as slow as they could. Finally around 10 something, after buying eggs, we started our journey.

With the driving skills of Ms.Cheow, we managed to reach around 11 something. Whoa, we arrived at such a 'PERFECT' time where the sun was blazing right above our heads... SWEATSSSSSS~

We played at the cool pool mouliu-ly, walking around in the pool, splashing water to each other before heading to the hot spring. We rendam at the hot spring a while until our body meat were 'cooked' and ready to eat then we left for the egg boiling area. Due to some technical errors, our eggs was over-boiled.. (we intended to make half-boiled eggs in the first place). No choice, we ate our 95% boiled eggs with pepper and soy sauce lor.

After bathing, we bought ice-cream at the entrance since it was a hot day BUT.... REGRET! The ice-cream although had pink, yellow, brown and white colours, it only had one taste - santan... With difficulty, we finished up the ice-cream (Mama taught us not to waste food =p).

A snapshot before changing and jumping into the pool~

The gigantic octopus~

Rendam-ing in the hot spring~

Legs in the 30-35 degree celcius water~

Engchi was so happy!! What did she see le??

Eggs for lunch! (The egg which was in pieces belonged to Ms.Cheow, hehe)

Engchi posing with eggs boiling in the hot spring (our eggs were not there as we had already eaten all, haha~)

Group picture before leaving~

We saw this incident when walking towards the car. Wondering how the motorbike got into the drain~

That was our day at the hot spring. On the way back Kampar, we dropped by at Bidor to buy some local fruits - guava (Bidor famous fruit), mango, ciku and sweet sop. Since already at Bidor, sure went to Pun Chun Restaurant la... ate duck drumstick mee and 'wu kok'... but it's quite expensive lor.
With our stomach fully fed, we continued our journey back to Kampar. This trip was held upon request from Dr.Neoh since he wanted to have fun as much as he can before starting his induksi at Terengganu.

A mou liu but fun trip on a Sunday.

LEEHOM's Music Man Concert 2009

I went to see LeeHom last Saturday!! With my sis, sis' bf and bro. We went to watched him once 2 years back. He's still that good-looking, handsome, multi-talented in music and musical instruments. And this time, I think he became muscular too! All his costumes were sleeveless ^_^

He's the hero in music world. He wants to save the music world. That's him, LEEHOM, the Music Man!

The stage might look simple and plain. Dark background. However, it was totally a different story when the lightings were on and the concert began. The animation shown on the screen was terrific, together with the lightings and sound system, they made the concert so live and rhythmic.

I love the most when he played the violin and piano. It felt so romantic when he played the song 'When you wish upon the stars' using his violin. Thw way he played the piano was so energetic! *Applaud!* Not to forget, he's excellent with the drums and guitar too! This time, he brought his beloved new specially made guitar to Malaysia, 'Bahamut'! Well, I don't know about guitars, but Bahamut is such a unique guitar. If I've not mistaken, it has ruby for the dragon's eye on the guitar!

LeeHom played magical tricks in his concert this time. There was a crew imitating as him up on the stage and then suddenly he appeared at the centre of the stadium!!! Initially, I thought it was him on the stage and I was so confused, how come he could re-appeared at the centre of the stadium. =p

A concert that can be described as the name of his song - HEARTBEAT. It really made your heartbeat accelerated! Marvellous show!

The stage - before the concert began. Simple, plain, all dark background.

The stage - after the concert began (Sorry for the low quality of the picture, I took it with my mobile phone only & I sat so 'NEAR' to the stage, hehe =p

The 2 screens on the stage focused on LeeHom the whole person most of the time.

1st Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2009

The 1st Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2009 was co-organised by Malaysian Sport Aviation Federation (MSAF) and AKA Balloon Sdn Bhd on the 19th until 22nd of March. I got to know this event from a friend and we went there to have a look on Saturday evening.

The fiesta was made merrier by activities such as bazaar, carnival, promo booths, kite-flying, para-motor and aero-model exhibiton. And of course, the main attraction was at the ‘Monumen Alaf Baru’, Precinct 2, where the hot air balloons would take off. There were 16 balloons participating in the fiesta, coming from all around the world, included New Zealand, Netherlands, Japan, USA, France, Philippines, Switzerland, Belgium and not forgetting - MALAYSIA!

The hot air balloons came in standard shaped and special shaped such as orange, peacock, clown face, elephant and nescafe mug!! We waited for more than an hour before the take off of the first hot air balloon as the flight of the balloons was delayed due to the windy weather. Fortunately, the event was continued although it was still windy. Thanks to the balloon pilots!!

*** The yellow balloon was from MALAYSIA ***

Below are photos I got from some other websites (we left before these were released up into the sky)

There was also a special performance namely "Night Glow" on Saturday night where the balloons would 'fire up' according to the rhythm of music (we didn't managed to see this as well T.T). The picture below I found in someone's blog. =)

A video I found from youtube on the "Night Glow" ^_^

Although we missed out the cute shaped balloons and the Night Glow special performance but still, it's an enjoyable outing at Putrajaya last Saturday (I abandoned my FYP to come to see the balloons!!! =p)

I WANT TO RIDE IN A HOT AIR BALLOON ONE DAY IN THE FUTURE!!!
